"A beautiful stay with wonderful hosts! Marie and kevin who were lovely hosts, had a great list of options for breakfast and well looked after rooms.

The room had a picturesque view out to sea, it was hard not to be sat by the window.

Marie took extra steps to make our stay extra special, with blueberry muffins, blankets and reading materials related to our site seeing and was much appreciated.

Highly recommend and can't wait to return!."

"The accommodation was lovely & the rooms were comfortable & it was spotlessly clean.

The view from the dining area was stunning.

It was about a 10-15 minute walk into town & it was ideally placed to enjoy a walk across the bridge.

Marie & Keith were very welcoming & couldn't do enough for you.

There was a choice of delicious breakfasts that were freshly prepared & cooked each morning.

I would highly recommend staying at this property."

"Kevin and Marie are such wonderful hosts - they provide 5-star service. They are considerate, calm, very helpful, cook a fantastic breakfast, keep the rooms spotless. I was so impressed with their knowledge of the local area. They put together a day's walking route for me... which was possibly the BEST day of my week's holiday. Truly beautiful part of the world. Breathtaking. Thank you both so much!"

We own Lawrenny Lodge, having purchased the property at the end of 2025. Following a few updates, hiccups and delays, we are open for the winter of 2026. Darren is an amazing chef who loves to cook good, homely, hearty meals. He looks forward to creating tasty breakfasts using local Welsh produce. Bethan brings years of experience as a waitress, wedding coordinator, and bridal boutique owner. Together as a couple, we bring our experience from running a successful pub in the Leicestershire countryside as we look forward to a slightly slower pace of life.

We are married—20 years and counting—and are so excited to fulfill our dream of owning and running a bed & breakfast on the gorgeous Welsh coast! Our story begins at a Hilton hotel, where Darren works as a chef and Bethan as a waitress, and we continue to enjoy life together ever since.

We have 2 gorgeous English Setters, Barco and Wanda. They are ex-bird-hunting rescues from Spain who love all the seagulls and sea birds.

We cannot wait to welcome guests to our cozy lodge, where you can experience the amazing views of the nearby mountains, the sea, and the beautiful Mawddach Estuary. Welcome to your home-away-from-home!

  • Do all of your rooms have private bathrooms?

Yes! Every single one of our guest rooms features its own dedicated, en-suite bathroom equipped with premium toiletries and plush towels.
